A DHA, omega 3 fatty acid supplement that helps naturally reduce inflammation.
Description
Natural Remedy® is a DHA supplement that can be used for all classes of horses. Omega 3 fatty acids, which are precursors for DHA, play an anti-inflammatory role in the body. By providing horses with a direct source of DHA, we can maximize the positive impacts observed with omega 3 fatty acid supplementation. DHA has been shown to positively affect fertility in stallions, reduce allergic inflammation, improve respiratory function and can also decrease post-exercise inflammation. Consider adding Natural Remedy® to the diet of stallions with poor semen quality, horses with seasonal environmental allergies and those that suffer from heaves or COPD.
Benefits
- Supports enhanced immunity, heart and respiratory function.
- Research proven to improve stallion fertility.
- Naturally lowers inflammation in the body.
Feeding Instructions
Feed 6 ounces twice per day to a 1,000 to 1,100 pound horse. Adjust amount fed up or down for horses above or below this weight range (i.e. 3 ounces twice per day for 500 pound horse or 8 ounces twice per day for 1,500 pound horse.)
When starting horses on Natural Remedy™, offer 1/3 the target amount, as described above, mixed with the horse’s current feed for the first 3 days, then 2/3 the target amount for another 3 days, then offer the full target amount.
For maximum effect on stallion fertility, begin feeding Natural Remedy™ 60 days prior to and during the breeding season.
