Description
Wholesome Blends™ Senior allows you to meet the unique needs of your horse. It’s higher fat (8%) and high fiber (20%) levels make it a great choice for horses of all ages, not just seniors. Crafted with whole seeds and vegetables, this low NSC (16.5%), 100% soy-free, no added iron horse feed is suitable for moderate to harder-keeping horses with sugar and starch sensitivities. Wholesome Blends™ Senior is an ideal feed choice when hay quality is poor or hay replacement is necessary. This feed is formulated with prebiotics, probiotics and whole ingredients, like beet pulp and sweet potatoes, to support your horse’s digestive health.

Meal Size & Frequency:
We recommend 2 or more meals per day. Do not exceed 5 lb per meal (4 lb for ponies, 6 lb for draft horses).
Provide at least 1.5% of your horse’s body weight in quality forage (hay/pasture) daily. (ex. 1,000 lb horse needs 15 lb of forage per day, minimum).
Be sure clean water is available at all times.
